Dinotica Tools Hub
Practical helpers for party jobs, breeding stop conditions, and whether your PC will survive a totem storm.
Guides explain the loop. Tools force a decision. This hub collects the three helpers that keep a 1.0 save from drowning in cribs, empty hunting posts, and mystery crashes.
What is here
The Team Builder is a role checklist: rider, AI damage, support, worker. Tick the jobs you actually staffed. It will not simulate hidden stats we do not have. It will stop you from taking three hunters into Dark Forest.
The Breeding Planner is a stop-condition list for stars, traits, and fruit. Breeding is the system players both need and resent. The planner exists so RNG has an off switch.
System Requirements reprints Steam’s minimum and recommended specs, notes Steam Deck Playable status, and explains why particle totems crash some machines that otherwise meet the GTX 960 line.
When to open a tool instead of a guide
Open the team builder after Getting Started and before Dungeons and Bosses. Open the breeding planner when cribs overflow, not before your first Casual boss. Open specs before you buy, and again when Flame Rift stutters.
Rankings that feed the tools: Combat Tier List, Worker Tier List, Totem Builds. Encyclopedia: Companions, Buildings.
What these tools will not do
They will not redeem codes — Dinotica has no public code channel. They will not merge online co-op hatcheries. They will not fix recommended power banners. They will not replace Patch Notes after a hotfix.
If a future update ships an official calculator, we will link it. Until then, checklists beat empty spreadsheets.
Use Co-op if the tool you actually needed was “how do two humans enter the same room.” Use the Review if the tool you needed was “should I even launch the game tonight.”
The rest of the wiki stays prose on purpose. These three pages are the only ones that try to act like instruments. Keep them bookmarked beside the hatchery, not instead of playing the rooms.
A good session uses one tool, then closes it. Tick the team builder, run two Casual rooms, and only then open the breeding planner if cribs overflow. Specs are a buy-page and a crash-page, not a nightly ritual. If you find yourself rearranging ticks more than you enter rifts, you are stalling — go back to Getting Started and take the ugly door.
Printable versions are not provided. Screenshots of the ticks plus a fruit note in Steam overlay are enough. When 1.0 hotfixes rename a difficulty or a fruit, the planner page will change first; this hub will only add a fourth tool if developers ship something that actually computes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers drawn from the current 1.0 build.
Is the team builder a damage simulator?
No. It is a role checklist. Hidden stats are not published.
Can the breeding planner guarantee a perfect adult?
No. It gives you a stop condition so the RNG grind has an end.
Do I need these tools to finish the story?
No, but they prevent the two most common stalls: no workers at home and infinite breeding.
