Dinotica Updates Hub
What changed when Early Access ended, which patches to remember, and whether the loop is worth your evening.
Dinotica’s news feed spent much of 2026 talking about sales. Then 12 August 2026 arrived and Early Access actually ended. This hub is how to read that timeline without mixing a Christmas snowman patch with the Dark Forest launch.
Start here after 1.0
Full Launch Notes lists Dark Forest, nine new companions, fifteen new bosses, Endless Mode 200, online co-op, and the launch-week discount. If you last played in 2025, read that page before you trust an old nesting habit.
Patch Notes is the working memory: 1.10 fishing and Halloween, Christmas Evil Snowman, fruit table changes, named skill tweaks, Cornered Beast math, Spacetime Rift stacking. It is not a complete proprietary dump. It is every note this wiki could verify.
The Review is sourced opinion: Very Positive Steam score, Cult of the Lamb comparisons, breeding RNG, cramped rooms, lying power banners, and what 1.0 does about the quiet year of sales posts.
How this wiki treats dates
Early Access: 12 August 2025. Rename from Dino Topia: September 2025 press. Full release: 12 August 2026. Launch discount window quoted by developers: 12–25 August 2026. If a Steam post later edits those windows, believe Steam.
Guides on this site — Getting Started, Dungeons and Bosses, Co-op — assume the released build, not the demo. Encyclopedia pages such as Maps and Companions mention 1.0 additions in place.
Where to verify
Steam news for app 3336520, Discord, and r/Dinotica. This wiki will not invent a roadmap the developers have not posted. A year of sale posts without patch notes is itself part of the story; the review discusses that fatigue.
If you only need a mechanical reminder, skip this hub and use the Tier List or Tools. If you need to know whether Dark Forest is real, stay here.
Hotfixes will land as short rows on the patch page, not as rewritten novels. When fruit tables or named relics move, breeding and totem guides will be updated to match — grep the site after a patch rather than trusting a screenshot in your camera roll.
If you only logged in for a sale, still skim launch notes once. Discount banners do not list Dark Forest bosses. If you followed the game as Dino Topia, this hub is also your rename reminder: same Steam app, new title, old trailers. Link friends to Full Launch Notes instead of an expired wishlist GIF.
Roadmaps promising fishing, competitive modes, or extra languages already partially landed (fishing is live; more languages were an EA goal). This hub will not pretend a future PvP mode exists until Steam says it does. Silence is allowed. Fan wikis get in trouble when they fill silence with hope.
